Wordpress or blogger, which is better?

Which of them do you prefer? And if I want to design my blog, do I need to know something about HTML or can I just make a background and header and then upload it or something.

both of them are almost at par with each other; only, for the coding crowd, wordpress is undoubtedly better. go blogger if you don't want to mess with net-technology that much, go wordpress if otherwise.
