How Do You Use Mysql?
I have MYSQL right now pretty much for one reason. I need to make my own custom membership provider for a website I am creating, because I need for the people on the website to be able to register. I'm pretty sure that MYSQL can be used as the database for that, but if it can't be used for an ASP.net custom membership provider, please let me know (and tell me what I can use). I haven't built a website before, but I used the W3 schools site for enough info to make the basics. Now, does the MYSQL use php (I don't know it)? If it does, where can I learn it?If it doesn't use php, how can I learn how to use it (link to video, website, or explanation helps)? Thanks for any helpful input.Get your ten points here!Just in case you're wondering what the website is for, it is for a Madden 2010 online franchise, so it will most likely never have more than 40 members, unless I do more than one franchise.
