Should I join Google adsense ?

Google Adsense and it's other allied services are said to be online revenue generator programmes. But there are heaps of other such programmes on net which guarantee the handsome amount of earnings but prove to be fraud and scams. So,in such context how could we trust google adsense and it's allied programmes.

Google won't reap you off earnings providing you follow the TOS. Adsense has been the most popular contextual ads network since its birth in 2004 (if I'm not mistaken). Play by the rules, and never worry. Earn >$100/month, and receive bank transfers or checks every month.However, other similar programs often are scams where you never receive your earnings.It doesn't mean adsense is the best for everyone - nope. There are people who find it more profitable to work with adbrite, kontera, yahoo, etc. It all depends of content and traffic.
