I want to update the look of my site, but dont want to loose my google

first page ranking.? My site organically comes up in the top 5 on google for some keyword searches, and on the first page for others. I'm very happy about this and dont want to screw it up, however, my site seems outdated and needs an overhaul. I want to add new images, colors, some flash, change all tables to divs, etc. The content will pretty much remain unchanged. Is this safe for me to do without putting my google ranking in jeopardy?
