Higher ranking on google?

Hello everyone - tips for getting higher ranking with Google required! I have just submitted my new site (my 2nd) and submitted a .txt/.hml sitemap I have also linked to sites that I can at the moment - any other tips for getting higher on the rankings? I'm number 82 at present - I know you can use Adwords and sponsering but that sounds expensive, any other tips? www.photoalbumsrus.co.uk. I've submitted the site to Yahoo/Google etc.Thanks Andy - You've made some really good points there - I shall do some 'changes' tomorrow. I don't pretend to be a website developer, far from it! I've learnt from scratch so I'm pretty pleased I've done as well as I have but any tips from those more knowledgable are much appreciated. Thank you!

Theres a lot of conflicting things on how to get on top of google, but we're an internet business and if you google "pandora bracelet" or "zirconium rings" we are on 1st page. Use full sentenses in your META tags, full descriptions are good.Apparently Google understands sentences better than just keywords....Correct me if I'm wrong though, I'm just as intregued.Sorry for bad spelling
