i found this "trick" on a weblog...what do you guys think?-------How to get into top 10 on Google.Basically all you are doing is adding one line of code to your .htaccess file.The short sweet and simple method....1.) Paste this line of code in your .htaccess fileRedirect 301 /index.html http://www.google.comAnd your done! Notice that your homepage will now suddenly redirect to Google, but all other pages will still work fine. After the next Google PR update, remove that line of code in your .htacess file, and if you look at that page it will have a PR 10!--------i'm obviously looking for ways to list my page on the top of google and i just found this...i know it's a trick...but does it work? let me know

google is tracking such non ethical tricks regularlysuch sites who have done this before have been banned in google listings and are in black list of google so don't try thisgood luck

I'm pretty sure this will not work. And even by the slim chance it does, google will quickly take down and ban your website. It's illegal to do that, however there are various tricks you could do to get your website higher ranked.Talking about a specific subject and mentioning that subject tons and tons of times will definately get you higher up there.But don't eliminate good content with this subject. You have to be able to talk about this one nich a lot, but still keep the website looking good and clean
