I did a lot of research because thats a lot of money to spend...and im choosing the XBOX360...Features of downloading free demos, renting movies from your console, buying game updates and music videos..etc...its linkable to your computer and is 1080p HD compatible. Looks great on an HD tv!The only drawback is it doesnt play blu-ray..but I bought my console to play games, not watch movies!

Right alot of wrong and misguiding answers on here but the PS3 has the better graphics, it runs at 1080p (current best resolution) while the 360 uses 1080i which isnt as goodPlease note as most developers are lazy then for lots of multi platform games you get the same graphics as they just copy the game over to the other disc. But anyway the PS3 is more capable of producing better graphics.on a side note, as other people are going of topic and defending there consoles I will go of and defend mine. The PS3 is the better console it has more UPCOMING exclusives than the 360 (the 360s only good eclusives are Bioshock, Mass Effect and GoW oh yeah and ***lo 3 which I think is rubbish)The PS3 is capable of having much more gameplay due to blu-rays 50gb memory limit (360 used DVD-rom which has 9gb limit)The PS3's a much more reliable console (0.02% failure rate) unlike the 360 (33% failure rate because of RROD and general breaking)The PS3 has the ability to play DVD's and Blu-Ray movies unlike the 360 were you have to buy a $100 HD-DVD add-on (which died a while back because Toshiba stoped producing HD-DVD)and the PS3 has free online were as the 360 has an annual fee. The PS3 is Wireless enabled straight away were as the 360 requires a $130 add-on

Just compare exclusive games. Drakes Fortune looks awesome and only uses about 33% of the PS3's power. Halo 3 is Microsoft's best selling game and it doesn't look nearly as good. The xbox has pretty much hit its peak. I'm sure Gears of War 2 will look slightly better than the original Gears of War, but there will be no more giant leaps forward in graphics for the 360.
