OK I have a decent computer: Intel Celeron 2.80GHz, 200GB HDD, 1GB RAM.However when I play games with 3D graphics it lags really badly. Even to play the original Half Life I need to turn all the graphics quality to the absolute lowest, and even then it lags in high action moments.Could a new graphics card help with this? I was thinking of getting a Nvidia card. What kind of requirements do they have to work?

a Geforce 8800 GT 512mb 256bit graphics card and a new processor. You need a new mother board though. I suggest one thats SLI ready, and has 2 full bandwidth PCIe x16 slots.Motherboard: (you can look through others on that site, that board is for intel quad cores, and the core 2 duo)http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...2E16814130318I recommend a core 2 duo. They are very fast, and very cheap now (2.66 ghz, and the 3.0 ghz is only like 40 bucks more)
