Default I have to get a new graphics card for sims 2 which one should i get?

whenever i play sims, my walls start flashing red and black and pink. I know i need a new graphics card, but i don't know which one to get. Can somebody please help!?! i miss my sims!! Whats the best card to use that will work with sims?

Heh, hun, it completely depends on your computerUnfortunatly a good graphic card can run you about 250 dollars : \

That sounds like an overheating problem. Artifacting (what is happening here) generally occurs from high heat. Have you tried cleaning dust from the vents and fans inside the computer?

Get one made by NVIDIA. They work the best with the sims 2. Depending on how much money you are willing to spend will determine which you should buy. I would suggest the GeForce Series. Any one of these should work excellent:http://www.nvidia.com/object/graphic...s_buy_now.html

i suggest u get the nvidia x1300 or any other nvidia x series.. i us it and i can play sims 2 and it runs smoothly.. i havent come across a game that this graphic card cant handle yet. and its much cheaper then the geforce series coz the x series uses the latest technology whereas the geforce series is quite outdated...Hope u make d right choice.. best of luck..

i think you use an old pc...dont waste money buy graphic cardbuy new pc....
