one from your system? Im rather confused on the subject of the type of ram on a graphics card.So do ALL physical/real graphics cards(Not on board!), use their own Ram, or is their some type of memory out their that take up your Ram?Because On Tigerdirect for this x1650 pro has Gddr2 memory type, and the minimum requirements says "256mb of system memory"http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=2687691&CatId=2234Whilst this x1650 uses Ddr2 memory type, and its minimum requirements says nothing about having a certain amount of Ram.http://www.tigerdirect.com/applicati...8&CatId=2234So does this mean that not all graphics card use their own memory?Ahhhhhh too many mixed answers!Ooh now I'm getting more answers aiming to the one I was hoping for =DKeep 'em coming!

That card has discrete memory and does NOT use hypermemory technology- ATI's shared system memory. It will use its own onboard RAM.Discrete Cards that use system memory (cards that are not motherboard integrated) are marketed as Hypermemory for ATI and Turbocache for Nvidia and are only for the PCI-e interface. AGP cards have no such technology - all AGP cards use their own memory so you don't need to worry. The 256MB minimum is required by the catalyst drivers to Load OpenGL and DirectX environments and engines.
