Simply having a good graphic card won't allow you to play any videogame you want.Not that it's involving videogames, but you also need Ram.A good graphics card is anything 250mb or above.WWW.GOOGLE.COM

Go on www.newegg.com or www.tigerdirect.com and look and click on video cards. It will give you reviews , and all kinds of stuff. I think tigerdirect haves more though.

most people have nvidia, i cant be specific because you didn't say if you play games or whatever

1st ~~~> PCIe2nd ~~~>AGP3rd ~~~>PCI4th ~~~>onbaord256mb and above !!!Nvidia OR ATI.if really skint ~~~> ISA 4mb - 32mb cards lol

You should probably go for one of the latest Nvidia or ATI cards for maximum compatibility. There have been some issues with Nvidia chips lately but I think it was just confined to laptops... Theres an article in APC on it (below)

I personally prefers ATI as I had my nVidia burned several times. But overall it depends on the manufacturer, I personally prefer ASUS for the Graphic Card Make sure the motherboard and processor are compatiable.
