No Bast is Shared, because we don't want max memory for every time .then not to dedicate much ram ,more that needs.then new laptop use D.V.M.T Technology. then Shared best for a laptop .but Pc's PCIX or agp use for gaming or heavy works. then Dedicated best for pc.

When a video card uses 'shared' ram. it will actually share the ram with the system. which means the if you have 2gb of system ram your graphics card will eat some of it. also system ram tends to be slower than video ram (although less expensive). If you plan on doing allot of gaming. i would go with dedicated ram. however if you do not use your graphics processor or are just surfing the web, word processing, e-mail a laptop with shared graphics memory is a much less expensive option.
