Default I want to host a huge party, but I live in an apartment complex ?

I want to host a huge party since I am finishing my PhD and moving out of AZ for good. But, and this is critical, I live in an apartment complex with a lot of families around and I have seen cops being called for so much as when I am talking with my friends in the patio. Now, what are my options as to hosting a big party. Looks like there will be around 40 - 50 people (or more). It will be a kegger and I think I iwll get a DJ too so it will be noisy. But I am not sure how to go about it. Any ideas ?Could anyone also tell me a cost estimate of renting a hall or a lawn for such a party.

Ask a friend if you may use their back yard, or maybe rent a place.

rent an event hall like at a hotel that allows that kind of thing where you can safely party and crash afterwards. I wouldn't try this at the apartment.

Does the complex have a community center you can use? If not, many restaurants have private rooms you could use. They usually don't charge for them as long as you order food and drinks.

Does your apartment have a club house? Or do you know someone who lives in an apartment that has a club house? Usually you can get the space for free if you live there.Maybe one of your friends will loan you their house? OR, you can go to a restaurant and reserve a room. But usually there is a minimim per person, or per party. If you went that direction, pick a fun place that has karaoke or a band already schedules for the night.Yes, do not do it at the apartment. It is probably too small and would not be fun anyways, besides upsetting the other tenants.

One thing that you have to remember when renting a hall is that they will charge you almost double if you are having alcohol...this is to cover any damage that is done. If you tell them that you are not serving alcohol they will fine you and they can take you to court for damages. Do you have a friend with a bug house? That would be your best bet.

Do you have any nice, public parks in your area? You can always have it in a park if the weather permits. It won't cost you anything to rent it that's for sure. Just make sure you have some tents set up and long tables and chairs. Don't forget to have a small tent and a chair for the DJ. Get some of your friends to help out.

I would notify management, and tell them that you are going to have a party.....You are allowed to do so.....and if you are moving who cares....but I know what you mean.....I live in one of those posh (bogus) complexes that some people are thinking they live in bev hills..... but I have a party room on the complex so that helps......see if you have such a center.
