There is this kewl software that you can download for free. I use this a lot to create that "transparent-look" on an image file.Here are the steps:A. Downloading and Installing the IrfranView software.1. Go to http://dw.com.com/redir?edId=3&siteI...dl-IrfanView2. Install the program.3. Done.B. Converting the HTML image to JPEG.1. Go to the HTML image that you want to create the transparent effect on.2. Right-click on the image and select Save Picture As.3. A screen will appear.4. To the right of File name: enter a new name or keep it as it is.5. To the right of Save as type:, choose JPEG (*.jpg).6. Near the top of this screen, choose the location where you want to save the image file.7. Click Save.8. Done.C. Transparency effect1. Open the IrfranView program.2. On the menu bar, go to File | Open.3. Browse to the location of the image file that you want to do the transparency effect.4. Click to highlight the image and click on the Open button.5. Go back to the menu bar and click on Image | Enhance colors...6. Play around with this settings and you will be able to get the exact amount of transparency that you're looking for.7.
