You need to find webspace to host the files so they can be accessed on the internet. Geocities is an example of free webspace.

You need a host in order to publish a site to the internet. The most common site for free web hosting is freewebs.com, but that may be CSS code only. Google web hosting, see if you find anything that is free and will allow you to publish your HTML-based site.

First you need to buy a website domain. They are roughly about $5 a year (from what I remember). This domain will be how people go to your site. Next you need some sort of web hosting. This hosts your site on the internet. You can host your site on your own computer (like an old computer you are not using) but this is a bit complicated and requires the computer to be on all of the time. Typical hosting from a company like godaddy costs around $5 a month.

Your service provider probably offers some free hosting space but you won't get a nice URL web address, it will be something like: yahoo.com/users/~yourname003.htm. Check their customer service area for details. There is probably an FAQ.If you need real hosting for commerce or promotion then you goto godaddy, etc.
