HTML Code help?

If you look in the address bar of your web broser right now, there is a little image before the domaine name. Can anyone give me the HTML code and or instructions how to impliment this on my website. I think it's obvious that i'm a novice web designer so please bare that in mind when you answer my question. Mant thanks

Just put the icon image in the root of your domain, and call it favicon.icoModern web browsers will use it automatically (IE5+)
