And what about Halliburton, isn't that turning into a giant private mercenary force? Shouldn't we be concerned when the Vice-President has a private army and his own nuclear power plants?

They aren't monopolies. A monopoly is when only one entity has market power in a particular field. Neither Wal-mart nor Microsoft have that.Why shut down two of the most successful businesses in the history of the world? Both have done more for poor people than any gummint program ever.Halliburton is an engineering firm.
