Default I know it's cool to hate Microsoft, but I love my new Vista Home Premium.

Have I been brainwashed? Just bought a new computer and have not found any problems at all with Vista. All I ever hear are horror stories, but mine is running fine. Am I just lucky? Please note that I am not a newbie. I go back to VisiCalc on the Apple IIc and installing 8k ram chips by hand.

No....they spent millions of dollars for research!!!.Honesty sets you aside from those abusive corporate executives, if the product is real good then it is fine. That's just-- it some consumers lie....some consumers tell the truth! Some corporations lie......some corporations lie bigger!!!!

I am in the same boat as you, mostly.I have had Vista form day one and the only problem I encountered was Sims 2 not running for my brother, but that was easily fixed.I hear people all the time saying things like 'ZOMG DONT GET VISTA NOTHING WORK' and I wonder, what programs don't work? All of my programs, drivers and hardware have worked on Vista, on both of my computers.I do not however, like Outlook Express, that program hates me. So I use hotmail. It is perfectly fine to like Microsoft, even Mac does, or why would they have Windows on Macs?

First of all I'm also running a genuine windows vista home premium it really works fine specially if your windows is fully updated but I only suggest if anyone would like to get a vista they should have 2 gigs of ram or more because vista alone uses 1 gig of ram already. So if you are playing games and you only got 1 gig of ram there would be an error because you run out of memory.
