Mac is 10x better than Microsoft. Also, you can write a document in the program Text Edit. It should be in your applications. You should find it in Finder.Good Luck!

Mac doesn't have a program like Word, which is why you need Microsoft Word, or a windows computer.

Microsoft Word is available for Macs.If you don't want to buy Microsoft Word, a program called "Pages" comes on new Macs, as does a program called "TextEdit".Pages has a lot of extras, but it's just a trial version. TextEdit is pretty basic(closer to WordPad rather than Word), but it's free.
