yeah, just go to tools and then spelling and grammar check. You will have to fix all your mistakes and after that, it will tell you how many words, paragraphs, what grade level you write on and much more information about the paper you are writing

To count words in selected text only, select the text you want.If you don't select any text, Microsoft Word counts the words in the whole document. On the Tools menu, click Word Count.Word displays counts for words, paragraphs, lines, and characters. To add or remove footnotes and endnotes from the count, select or clear the Include footnotes and endnotes check box

yeah, if you have vista, on the bottom left there is a word count that tells you how many words you have. if you dont have vista, you can still go to word count, up at the top. (file, word count) but just so you have an idea, 500 words is only about a page single spaced, 2 double spaced.=)

It's very simple. I tell u how to check. Ok Read it carefully.First if you are using Microsoft office 2007 then you don't need to open any folder. If you look bottom left hand side you will see the word count and page number as well. It will tell number of word have been written in word so simple.
