You can do that by clicking on View, then Header and footer, then a rectangular square will appear, insert whant you want there, then close.

Go to View, then Header & Footer. It should be in the header, and say your last name and then the page number ON EACH PAGE.For example, pg. 1: Smith 1pg. 5: Smith 5Just make sure it is on every single page & is right aligned. Good luck!

You would type in the name etc and move it to the right leaving some space for number. Then go to insert and choose numbering and where you want to place it. Good luck.

Use the Header and Footer command.1. Click on "View">"Header Footer"2. A window will appear where you can choose what information you want to write in you header box (the same is true with the footer). You can also select where to place the page number and whatever.*Header = located at the top of the page*Footer = located at the bottom of the page

You can add page numbers and other information, such as the date or time, to a document's header or footer at the top or bottom of the page. Information stored in headers and footers appears dimmed and cannot be modified at the same time as the body of the document. To work in the header and footer areas, click Header and Footer on the View menu, which opens the Header and Footer toolbar. Microsoft Word automatically places the insertion point in the header. Note The page number is automatically inserted and aligned on the left margin of the header or footer. To move the page number to the center or to the right margin, click in front of the page number, and then press the TAB key.3.Click Close on the Header and Footer toolbar to return to the body of your document. Add the date or time1.On the View menu, click Header and Footer. 2.On the Header and Footer toolbar, do any of the following: oTo add the date to the header or footer, click Insert Date . oTo add the time to the header or footer, click Insert Time . 3.Click Close on the Header and Footer toolbar to return to the body of your document.Insert a field 1.Click where you want to insert a field. 2.On the Insert menu, click Field. 3.In the Categories box, click a category. 4.In the Field names box, click a field name. 5.Select the options you want.
