You may want to give openoffice a try. It's free, open source, and multilingual. It's an alternative to the expensive Microsoft Office suite and also compatible.

You don't want the free stuff, because that would be pirated software and windows updates catches that type of stuff. So you are going to have to pay for it.Now there are certain places that if you are a student or teacher, that will give you a special discount. otherwise check these places out.http://www.overstock.com/search?keyw...nrp=15&iht=nOr you could download Open Office which is free and legal, and is somewhat a spin off of microsoft officehttp://www.openoffice.org/

Best way to get it cheap like the others said, is as a student and get it from your schools bookstore or computer store. I got MS Office for $5 at my school. Another way is to take a computer course at your school, not all of them, but some of them (mainly in college) that us MS software give students access to Microsofts MSDNA website where you can download or get CD's of MS software for free, but this doesn't include office, but I got like 8 copies of XP pro that way (just need 7 more computers though).
