i was trying to upgrade my internet explorer and i got the Microsoft Genuine Advantage verify message and it said that my windows might be counterfeited.how can i update it!!i no noting about my computer..

Unless ur copy of windows is original, else it's impossible to download it from microsoft's site.Better find alternative download

go to microsoft update and try to update.....if you need it and you don't have a stolen copy of windows, it will install it for you

welyour copy isn't orignal forget it you will have to buy a orignal copy or else if you are doing it for just a ie7 or wm11go on google/yahoo search and type internet explorer7 cracked or internet explorer no verification and their you go

If ur microsoft copy is legal then it shouln't b a prob.. if not then ur better off not updating it..!! go fr MOZILLA FIREFOX.. i feel its equal if not better than microsoft internet explorer.. if ur copy is illegal n u update it, u'll receive a annoying msg saying ur copy is illegal each time u log into ur system..

u got 2 option1. get genuine copy of windows.2. easy which i hav done before ;-) reinstall window after format then get a crack from internet like ( program called keyfinder and get pirated window key and use it) then u window will be 100% genuine and ready for updates.cheers....

Once you try to update a pirated windows, you are bound to get that message. Not only that, after sometime your windows, especially internet programs stop working. The moral of the story - don't try to update a pirated windows.Incidentally, NOW you can download ie7 without MS checking whether your windows is legal or not.
