Word Cloud Sites

I have often read about word cloud but have not used it yet. Can anybody enlighten me on how my site will benefit from having a "word cloud" feature installed on my site?

Im assuming by 'word cloud' you are reffering to 'tag clouds'?

This is a Web2.0 feature that allows you to display the most recent keywords or tags on your site. The more popular the tag, the bigger font is used to display it.

I hope that makes sense, I can't think of an example link to show you at this point.
