google adwords and yahoo sponsered is expensive..I don't care so much about the quality of the traffic..

ask is a bit cheaper. You can also do adsonar/qunigo http://www.quigo.com/asfa.htm , you can get hits for sure on that for pretty cheap, just content based ads, very cheap way to get lots of traffic. Depending on what topics you place your ads on will determine how much you pay, and what sites you pick to put them on.

what style of website do you have? I ask, as you may be able to sign up to tradedoubler.com affiliate they have just started a new PPC program and at first sighting looks pretty good
