The link you had was for something that removed blackheads, so no, that wouldn't work too well. Mederma worked well for me on a few scars on my hands that were painful when I scraped them against a table or other object. I got them in a car accident. I wanted the scar on my elbow to be fixed surgically, esp since there was still some glass in it, but a doc said the "revision" would not necessarily give a good result. Try Mederma first (you can buy it at any store) and then if you still need something, you may want to see a doctor.
