you have beat the forth gym leader then chase the galtic grunt from the city to the lake then you get secertpotion from the girl then you go to clestic town north from the day-care town after you finish stuff in the town then you got to the fifth gym leader

here, go to this website.http://www.gamefaqs.com/portable/ds/...25602/48999its a walkthrough for pokemon pearl. to save yourself from looking all over that thing to find where you are press ctrl+f.type 5th gym badge or something and it will take you there, read on and it should tell you how.
