Default where is best to start learning php programming from scratch?

where is best to start learning php programming from scratch?i know nothing about web programming - not even html - so where is the best place to do it? ( pls don't tell me to search online or go to a school)

I learnt everything including html, javascript, ASP, CSS, PHP etc.. from http://www.w3schools.comThe website is free, and you get tutorials from the very basics till some advanced point. You will get to learn lots of web programming languages for free, plus there is no need for you to register.PHP and ASP do not run directly on your computer. You need to setup a server on your computer, you will get the tutorials to do so on that website
