Default SORRY TMI.. pls help my body feels as though its slowly shutting down after

c section? i had an elective c section on the 1st october due to me having placenta previa - since then i have only had 5days in total where i have not bled, i went to the drs about 6weeks after section and was given antibiotics incase i had an infection, they never helped, then i went back& was given tablets to stop the bleeding, i took 2 and they made me very ill, i was then given the oral contraceptive cilest & was told this would stop any bleeding, i have had a full blood count incase i was aneamic but results came back fine, then i went for a scan just over a week ago to make sure there wasnt any tissue etc there - scan came back fine... consultant recc i keep taking the pill as it might be hormonal (hormonal for 12weeks) i have 3tablets left and yesterday i stopped bleeding - but instead was violently sick & after i was sick there was blood in the toilet. In 5wks i might have to have a dnc incase there is anything there?im so confused can u advise in anyway i dont know what else to do. xThanks so much for advise so far my dr said it is not uncommon for a woman to have these kind of probs after a section???? I tough i was being a pain at my drs office. Id like to ask and i dont mind honest yet nice answers, what could it be thats wrong just so i can prepare myself, im only 21 and i did worry incase it was ovarian cancer..??? x

I agree, you should get yourself to an ER. Something doesn't seem right and it isn't worth all your suffering to wait it out. Good luck, sweetie. Congrats on your little one!

I have had this surgery. It was an an emergency. You had this procedure almost 3 months ago. Personally, I would be seeking a second or even third opinion here. This should definitely not be happening to you. I hope your baby is doing well.

Aww sweetheart i wish i could say i could give you a good answer, i know bleeding for 7days is horrible i can only imagine for as long as you have been, and can imagine how it would feel if nothing they were doing would help...... I seen a previous answer talking about going to the E.R that is an alternative......... a few months back i was having some medical problems i went to my doctor a few times w/out anything being done to stop the pain or figure out what was causing it, finally i got frustrated and went to the E.R, they were able to figure out the problem and find the solution right there. If your doctor isn't working for you then you go somewhere where they will...... goodluck!!! i hope everything works out!

C-Section is MAJOR SURGERY. Sounds like a D&C is needed. Are you breastfeeding? Believe it or not, it helps. NEVER take antibiotics "in case" of infection, they lower your immune system. Placenta previa is usually not cause for C-section;the typical recommendation is bed rest so that you can get as close to your due date as possible . You need another doctor!! A.S.A.P.
