Search Engine Optimization (SEO) help?!?!?

I have started a webpage for my new business, but need to start SEO so i can get it's name out and into the top search engines. how should i start? any books/sites i should visit?

you can submit your link to search engines no probelm! for google, example they say you can get in the top 5-10 but sometimes it doesnt work. im in the top 10 for isocialize. for my social network isocialize.ning.comto submit to google go to google.com/addurlits simple just enter the site url and description and then its done.search engine optimization is not the only way you can advertise your website or campaign business.if you go to google.com and type in free advertising forums you can post your advertisement free in forums, but i caution to just go to advertising ones, or they wont go through.you need to also see about emailing people. send an email about iti am running isocialize.ning.com and i always get viewers. today over 100 views from me and mostly other people, peopel come to view the stuff i have, does not mean they're interested but you get views, its good.people always view, but it doesnt mean they wanna get your stuff.there's millions of sites to advertise in forums, posting blogs also helps..any more questions email me at razr1993@gmail.com or visit me at isocialize.ning.com
