Has anyone used Squidoo to create an online web directory?

I want to add an online directory to my exisiting website and am looking for software, coding, etc that will make this easy to do, to update & add/delete elements easily. Has anyone tried using Squidoo for this? If so, what did you think. Any other receommendations? I built my own website but I don't want to spend as much time building/updating the directory. Thanks!
