Is there a directory of all the domains registered on the web?

I was wondering if it was posible to see all the domains registered in a list somewhere (eventhough I know it`s millions of them).. another thing.. who controls de WWW..

There is no practical list I know of. If there would be be quite lengthy and continuously changing. The World Wide Web is controlled by the W3C. They are responsible for the standardization and development of the HTTP protocol. ICANN is responsible for domain names.

There is no comprehensive listing but there are listings.
