I have been in the mail order business off and on for at least 25 years and I have a very minor presence on the Internet although I'm not officially running an Internet business.I'm sorry that my information is not more specific, but this will give you some ideas maybe. You need to go to sites and study good website and advertising design. There are sites that can tell you about your Internet site traffic. Study your stats. Find out how to build your linking system without creating spam or getting thrown off the site. Give your customers incentives for spreading the word about your site. Advertising doesn't work if it isn't shown to the right customers in the right media at the right time! I have found that out the hard way many times. If you don't follow that rule, you are just wasting your advertising dollars. Make your site customer friendly and fun to visit. Why do you like to return to a site? Ask your friends.I hope some of these ideas help. You cannot just do it by observing. You have to get down and study and really learn and experiment until you get it right. One more thing. Innovation. Stay ahead of the curve!
